Heading: Drag the heading indicator (top instrument) to set aircraft magnetic heading.
OBS: Drag the NAV 1 or NAV 2 compass cards to set the OBS course.
Visualize: Toggle the VISUALIZE button to show OBS course lines through each VOR on the map.
Play: The ▶ button next to SPD starts and stops the aircraft. Pressing it at zero speed sets 90 kt; any speed you have already selected is kept.
DME: Shows distance to each VOR under its instrument. The map is 20 pixels per NM and the aircraft flies in real time, so at 1× a groundspeed check times out correctly — DME, groundspeed and the clock agree.
Time: The × button compresses time up to 16× to cover ground quickly. Timing checks only hold at 1×.
Turns: The ◀ ▶ buttons under the heading indicator roll into a standard rate turn that way and stay lit until you press again to level off. Dragging the heading card sets a heading directly and cancels a turn.
HIDE A/C: Hides the aircraft symbol, its track and its ground track vector, so you can practise fixing your position on needles alone.
SPD sets indicated airspeed. WIND opens wind direction, wind speed and magnetic variation; the button carries the wind so you can read it without opening the panel.
GPS readout: Below the heading indicator, GPS TRK and GPS GS show the magnetic ground track and groundspeed computed from heading, airspeed, and wind.
Move stations: Drag VOR, NDB, or aircraft symbols on the map to reposition them.
RESET: Returns all settings and positions to defaults.
